  • chase bank

I was told at two different times by two different Chase Bank employees that I had overdraft protection on my checking account. When I got my last statement they had deducted over $200 from my checking account for overdrafts. I talked to two three different employees about this and asked them to please give me some relief on this. They had all told me that I only had overdraft protection if I had a savings account. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a senior citizen who lives only on my Soc Sec each month. All these employees were very calloused and hateful and told... More...

  • Why must I opt out again?

I just received a letter from Chase saying that we know that you have opted out but we have great products and want to tell you about them. If you don't opt out again by signing and faxing this letter we will opt you in and you will receive mail about our product and services signed Deb Walden, EVP Cardmember Experience. Are you kidding me? Cardmember Experience is not about the card member as it should be. I took the time to opt out once please don't continue to ask me to do it again. More...

  • Chase Mortgage is TERRIBLE!!!!

My husband and I purchased our first home in April 2010. Everything was fine until May 2011, when we got a statement from Chase stating that our house payment was going up $300 a month because our Escrow balance was too low. Chase had completely ignored the tax forms that our attorney had sent them and tried to charge us for taxes on 28 acres of land, when we only owned 1/4 of an acre. I had to spend the day with my attorney trying to get this straightened out. In July 2011 I received my tax bill in the mail. As a courtesy I called Chase and asked if they had gotten their copy yet and they... More...

  • Does Not Care about Consumers

Chase lies about everything. They tell you they are helpful and there for you and then they give you phone extensions that they change a few weeks later. My situation has changed drastically and for 4 weeks I have been unable to contact anyone. I have called free organizations for help and they can't get through on any numbers Chase provided either. They route all calls through collections based on your loan number. I have called Mr. Thode (Toady) twice, Linda Smith about 4 times and still no help. This bank is horrific!! Obama should Target this bank and check through its corporate... More...

  • Modification loan

Hello, I have been a Chase client since 2006. We took on the loan with Chase under a few recommendations as to reduce monthly payments and restructure our monthly finances in to a mortgage that would decrease our monthly payments. Hindsight being 20/20 i should have not listened to a bank trying to sell a mortgage. We had it appraised, the appraiser asked us how much we needed the value to come in at, we thought that this was all in good faith. Now what we realize is that this is just a good way to earn a house with really nothing to lose but some numbers on a computer screen. We have... More...

  • home remodification loan process

I,too, applied for a remodification loan in june, 2009. i have applied 4 more times since, as chase keeps dropping me and not notifying me of their decision, then asking me for the back money, and whole process starts over. they have repeatedly asked for the same paperwork over and over, and/or new paperwork. my last reapplication was march 2011, and no less than 3 more times since requested the same or new paperwork. this has cost me more than 100 dollars in faxed paperwork to them, at their request, they prefer fax to mail, and i'm using the local library. they will not allow me to... • Horrible bank complaint

The worst ever. I have credit cards, car loans, bank accounts and even a mortgage with Chase. Never in my life have i come across such a large group of rude, uninformed, STUPID, and arrogant and condescending baffoons. I mean across the board- everything is always a problem, nobody is ever helpful, compitent or even slightly informed. The frustration level you will experience dealing with this bank is almost(and often times likely) criminal. More...

  • CAN NEVER PAY OFF

Two years ago my wife and I canceled a Chase Master Card, and began paying it off. In May of this year I called for a payoff amount and made an online payment that day for the amount I was told. In July we received a collections letter from Chase saying we were overdue on $12.20 payment and would be turned over to a collections agent if we didn't immediately make payment. After a call to customer service that was insane, the $12.20 was removed from the account and I was again told the account was closed with a zero balance. Now today I see a bill for $1.50 for "Minimum... More...

  • Chase treats customers terribly

Just got off the phone after having the most ridiculous conversation with a Chase pawn who tried to claim that my APR was being jacked up because I paid my credit card too EARLY. No, I'm not kidding you. They make some stupid excuse that I have a window of opportunity to pay my card and have it be considered on time. As far as I'm concerned, they got paid before the due date. It's rather convenient they made up this sudden rule. The annoying this is, I check my balances online. And I paid my card when my most recent statement showed up online. And when I challenged them... More...
